АННОТАЦИЯ
This study is devoted to the effect of acoustic pulsations on the power of EEG in all of the common bands and 21 leads. The components of pulsation's intensity (90 and 70 dB) and tempo were varied - active component with duration of 150 ms, followed by pauses of 100, 500, and 1200 ms. The active component of the stimuli was generated white noise, with rectangular shape of the amplitude envelope with the center at A5 and the duration of the entire stimulus 33 s. The stimuli received numbers 1 (pause 100 ms, 90 dB), 2 (500 ms, 90 dB), 3 (1200 ms, 90 dB), 4 (100 ms, 70 dB), 5 (500 ms, 70 dB) and 6 (1200 ms, 70 dB). EEG was recorded using the Mitsar 202 encephalograph according to the 10-20 scheme. The subjects listened to the signals with their eyes closed. Subjective assessments were made basing on the following Likert-type scales: "Tension", "Irritation", "Approach", "Acceleration", "Concentration", "Desire to do something", "Alarm", "Interest", "Something will happen" (expectation), "Natural - industrial". Between the data of the power of EEG rhythms and the evaluation of stimuli by subjective scales 271 significant correlations (at the level of p<0,05) were found. The most interesting finding is the selectivity of the manifestation of significant correlations between individual scales, stimuli and EEG parameters. For almost all of the subjective scales from 50% up to 100% of correlations are with the one single category - either loudness or tempo. For example, 100% of the "Anxiety" scale correlations are within "moderate tempo" stimuli - 2 and 5; 95% are within stimulus 2; 57% are in the Alpha band (all are negative). The same elective affinity is observed with all of the other scales except the "Approach" one. Apparently, there is a peculiar process of mutual elucidation of subjective assessments and brain rhythms by specific temporal and loudness parameters of acoustic pulsations.
