АННОТАЦИЯ
The principal limitation of the test approach is the idea that intellectual giftedness is identified and reduced to the level of the formation of cognitive functions. In the article features of a psychological status of children with high and super high IQ values are considered. The conclusion is drawn that a high IQ can be an indicator of developmental deficits in the intellectual sphere, in particular, the insufficient formation of conceptual abilities as the most important part of an individual intellectual resource
