АННОТАЦИЯ
The paper shows the role of account of socio—psychological features of different groups and collectives as well as of individual—psychological peculiarities of their members for the successful organization of socialist emulation. The following features can be referred to socio-psychological peculiarities of collectives: emulability, or the attitude towards emulation with other collectives; mutual help; the state of increased responsibility and exactingness. It is also important to take into account criteria of efficiency of socialist emulation for the correct organization of emulation: the correspondence of organizational forms of emulation to the human factor which ensures the mass character of emulation; the multi—level structure of organization of emulation which increases activity of all the persons involved into the emulation; the psychologically favorable industrial surroundings (esthetic aspect, moral climate in the collective, etc); the specific measures at different stages of emulation; the correspondence of forms of emulation to the character of industry and to the social life of the collective.
